Where Will You Ring in 2019?

NYE parties all over Chicago

DECEMBER 2018 – Some people love staying home to have an intimate dinner and spend a more reserved New Year’s Eve while others like to hit the town and blow it out in style. If you’re in the latter group — as most people seem to be with how difficult it is to get a cab or ride share just after midnight — you have plenty of things to do around Chicago.

Surf N Turf at Cherry Circle RoomClose out your year in style with Cherry Circle Room. In addition to their full dinner menu, Cherry Circle Room will offer a very special three course “Surf & Turf” prix fixe menu for $125 (not including tax, gratuity or beverages, and also available as a la carte specials). To ring in the New Year, we’ll also have Champagne pairings available for $90. Book via Reserve.

Bourbon & Bubbles: It’s all about Bourbon & Bubbles for this New Year’s Eve experience in Milk Room, our eight seat microbar specializing in rare and vintage spirits. Paul McGee has dreamed up some very special champagne and bourbon cocktails for guests to enjoy with an assortment of elegant shared bites. Tickets for this experience are $200 per person (not including gratuity and tax), available via Reserve.

House Party III: Get ready to get rowdy in Game Room this New Year’s Eve – House Party is back! For $120 per person (inclusive of gratuity), you’ll enjoy a massive Junk Food Tower, Large Format Jungle Juice cocktail, Mini Champagne Bottle for a midnight toast, and unlimited pitchers of beer for your crew. Book via Ticketfly.

Brew Year’s Eve: Head to Architectural Artifacts for a blow-out event that centers around, you guessed it, beer! The North Side event, set in an 80,000-square-foot antiques warehouse, will feature more than 25 beers from 10 Chicagoland breweries, including Half Acre, Hopewell, Solemn Oath and Goose Island (you can also get cocktails and wine). Big Star and Roaming Hog will be on hand to feed you while Red Carpet Riot, Dueling Pianos and Kevin Presbrey will all play live. And what’s great is the space is a few blocks from the Brown line and Ravenswood Metra so getting home shouldn’t be too difficult. All this for just $135.

NYE on the Lake: Since its multimillion-dollar renovation, Theater on the Lake has become a sought-after destination for large-scale events and hanging with friends at the lakefront. Spend your NYE with views of the skyline and Navy Pier fireworks while enjoying a five-hour premium drink package, grazing tables and all-night dancing to DJ Flipside. Tickets start at $85.

Chicago Resolution Gala: Venture out to the end of Navy Pier for this fantastic gala that gives you a front row seat to Chicago’s elaborate fireworks show while you dance to a live DJ. Stay liquored up with access to 30 bars while grazing a bevy of buffet tables. Tickets start at $119.

Chicago Social New Year’s Eve at SPiN Chicago: Fancy yourself the sporty type? Head to SPiN Chicago, one of Chicago’s premier upscale table tennis clubs where they’ll have a four-hour premium drink package, huge dance floor, appetizer stations, midnight bubbly and a balloon drop. Tickets start at $75.

And Concerts Galore: Some of the best ways to ring in the new year are to be surrounded by likeminded music lovers at a live concert. This year, you have a host of options including Noname at Thalia Hall, Greensky Bluegrass at the Riv, Galantis at the Aragon, Bully at Empty Bottle, Guided by Voices at Bottom Lounge, Mucca Pazza at Lincoln Hall, RJD2 at Sleeping Village and Windy City Soul Club at Logan Square Auditorium.
