Wabash Arts Corridor Big Walls

20 new murals will get installed along Wabash

If you’ve strolled along Wabash Avenue in the Loop between Van Buren and Roosevelt, you likely have seen many of the larger-than-life murals that have gone up over the last couple of years from artists like Hebru Brantley, Never 2501 and Shepard Fairey. Now, between May 1 and 13, the WAC Big Walls project sees Columbia College partnering with local galleries and sponsors to celebrate street art. More than 20 acclaimed local and international street artists will install large-scale murals. Come down during the two weeks to watch live as the artists do their work and further transform this growing art corridor.
