Tuesdays on the MCA Terrace

Enjoy a market and music on the MCA terrace

No matter if you go in the early part of the day or pop by in the evening after work, the MCA is the place to be on Tuesdays. Kick off your day with the SOAR Farmers Market. Between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., farmers from across the Midwest set up in an open-air market to sell fresh produce, flowers, cheeses, pastries and more. Stick around for dinner where chefs utilize ingredients supplied at the farmers market, including local produce and meats. The buffet dinner costs $27 per person and you can make reservations by calling 312-397-3805. Best of all, every Tuesday features live jazz on the terrace. A different musician or combo plays each week, including the Josh Berman Trio, Maggie Brown and the Chicago Human Rhythm Project.
