Check out a long weekend of incredible live music

While summer sees an onslaught of big music festivals like Pitchfork, Lollapalooza, North Coast and Riot Fest, it’s Tomorrow Never Knows that kicks things off at the start of each year. Taking place Jan. 13th to 17th at Lincoln Hall, Schubas, Metro, Smart Bar, the Hideout and the Athenaeum Theatre, TNK was created in 2004 by former Lincoln Hall and Schubas talent buyer Matt Rucins (who is also part of the Stay Smooth crew, which is throwing another one of their stellar parties at East Room on January 8th — check out a playlist to get in the groove.

The fest brings together some of the best emerging music across rock, indie, folk, Americana and more. And you’ll also get treated to great comedy from the likes of Bobcat Goldthwait and Nick Thune. The best part of TNK is that you’re guaranteed good music. You’ll see some bigger-name acts like Wild Belle, the Go! Team and San Fermin, but you’ll also discover up-and-comers so you can say you saw them when. Check out the schedule and get tickets.
