Sometimes You Just Need to Sweat With 200 of Your Closest Friends


When running alone along the lakefront trail gets boring, you may need to a few friends to help get you motivated. Pop down to the Great Lawn in Millennium Park every Wednesday and Saturday through early September for a variety of free workout classes led by fitness experts.

Roll out your yoga mat Wednesday mornings from 7:30AM to 8:15AM for a series of sun salutations, down dogs and warrior poses. Saturday programming starts at 7AM, and offers up four back-to-back 45-minute classes of tai chi, yoga with music, Pilates and Zumba with drumming, respectively. Can you think of a better backdrop or setting than the skyline to motivate you?
