Springtime in Chicago!

See springtime scenes from Chicago's history

It’s around this time every year in Chicago that locals start to get a little stir crazy. After a long, gray and cold winter, we’re ready to get outside. Some people get a little too ambitious and drive around with their convertible tops down as soon as the temps crack 50 degrees while others stroll around in shorts and flip-flops. While the rest of us are a little more realistic and practical with our cars and clothing options, most of us truly can’t wait to get outside and enjoy the city in any way we can. And clearly it’s been the same for many decades. Check out the photos, courtesy of Calumet412.com, showing various springtime scenes from throughout Chicago’s history.
