Explore 50+ whiskies at this festival


Can you think of a better way to warm up in winter than drinking a bunch of whiskey? If you answered no, you need to get tickets to the River North Whiskey Fest taking place January 23rd at Moe’s Cantina (155 W. Kinzie) from noon to 4 p.m.

Tickets  cost $50 for general admission or $60 for VIP, which offers an extra hour of tasting before the doors open to the general public. You’ll also get access to meet distillers and enjoy their special tastings not available during the regular session. During the fest, you’ll have the chance to sample whiskey, bourbon and Scotch from around the world from distilleries including Blaum Brothers, Chicago Distilling Co., Old Overholt, Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace and Old Grand Dad.
