RH Chicago Launches

The Three Arts Club gets a major makeover

Giving itself a brand makeover and a new home, Restoration Hardware opened its new flagship concept, RH Chicago, in the Gold Coast in September. The new 70,000-square-foot space, which occupies the breathtaking six floor Three Arts Club at 1300 N. Dearborn, saw a bevy of beautiful people come out for the opening, including celebs Christina Hendricks and Sophia Bush. The building originally opened in 1914, but had fallen into decay of late, so many see this reported $30 million renovation as a welcome revival.

Each floor is set up to allow patrons to see, touch, sit and take in different home settings from living rooms and bedrooms to kids spaces and outdoor furniture, which is set up on the sprawling top floor that includes roof patios with sweeping views of the city. People will be able to enjoy food and drinks, including doughnuts, from Brendan Sodikoff (Au Cheval, Doughnut Vault, Gilt Bar) while they pick out their new bed set, couch, dining room table or art pieces. The main floor features a jaw-dropping interior courtyard and atrium reminiscent of Paris’ Hotel Costes. This really takes shopping to a new level and it’s something you have to truly see to believe.
