On October 2nd, the MCA will open its doors for a late-night creative affair led by local restaurant and design crew Land and Sea Dept (Longman and Eagle, Cherry Circle Room). This first of three events throughout the year will bring together music, performance art and food and will lead off with DJ and electropop guru Dan Deacon.
Expect a frenzied dance party, plenty of food stations and great drinks. Parson’s Chicken & Fish will set up picnic tables with red and white umbrellas for chicken sandwiches and boozy slushies. Acclaimed mixologist Paul McGee will mix up special Tiki cocktails. Thank You will offer up their Chinese take out while Longman & Eagle will delight with some of the offal offerings.
Additional art and performances will come from the likes of Wild Belle’s Elliot Bergman, a light and sound show from Domestic Animal and a live screen-printing workshop from Hit + Run. Get the full lowdown and a buy $15 advance tickets here.
