Movies In The Park Make Their Glorious Return

Millennium Park Summer Film Series and back, and we've got you covered

MAY 2019 — At long last, one of Chicago’s sweetest summer treats returns next month: the Millennium Park Summer Film Series. That’s right; every Tuesday from June through August, free movies are screened at our neighboring Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, and moviegoers are encouraged to pack their own spreads and stake out their grass spot.

Because there’s nothing more Chicago than BYO-Picnicking to a park lawn to catch a movie, we’ve got you covered. Grab a to-go order from Shake Shack, and catch one of these movies this summer — and don’t forget to come back across the street at the end for a nightcap with us:

  • June 4: Black Panther
  • June 11: Frida
  • June 18: Love, Simon
  • June 25: Wonder Woman
  • July 2: The Wiz
  • July 9: 10 Things I Hate About You
  • July 16: Moonlight and Pan’s Labyrinth
  • July 23: The Music Man
  • July 30: Fences
  • August 5: Inside Out
  • August 6: The Muppet Movie
  • August 13: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
  • August 20: My Big Fat Greek Wedding
