Mac & Cheese Fest Returns

Who will nab this year's Golden Noodle award at Mac & Cheese Fest?

Is there anything better than a big bowl of gooey, melty, hearty mac and cheese? Fifty bowls of gooey, melty, hearty mac and cheese! If you love this ultimate comfort food, you need to hit the second annual Mac & Cheese Fest on October 24th.

This total gratuitously indulgent festival lands at UIC Forum (725 W. Roosevelt) for two Saturday sessions: lunch at noon and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $60 ($100 for VIP) and you’ll get all you can sample cheesy creations from about 50 restaurants including Bub City, Bascule Wine Bar, Chicago Q, Charlatan, Erie Café, Fork, Luella’s Southern Kitchen, Pearl Tavern, Red Door and, of course, the 2014 Golden Noodle winner: Kitty O’Shea’s. Your ticket purchase also gets you five drink tickets. Don’t wait until the last minute; get your tickets so you can load up your belly with mac and cheese!
