Louder Than a Bomb Turns 16!

Celebrate Louder Than a Bomb with Chuck D

Louder Than a Bomb, the youth poetry festival put on by Young Chicago Authors , celebrates its 16th anniversary this year. And to make sure everyone knows just how kick ass this Chicago organization is, it’s holding a big fundraising fete on March 18 at Metro in Wrigleyville.

Honorary co-hosts professor Gaye Johnson and Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord will lead the night that starts with a VIP reception in the balcony, an on-stage live interview and then a performance by Chuck D and DJ Lord. Tickets range from $25 (for general admission to the show) up to $500 for the VIP reception. If you’re a fan of Public Enemy and also want to help support kids fulfill their artistic and creative dreams, this is a night you won’t want to miss.
