Logan Square … From Above!

What Logan Square looks like from the sky

Logan Square is quickly becoming one of Chicago’s hottest neighborhoods. After rents and home prices in Bucktown and Wicker Park skyrocketed in the aughts, hipsters, artists and others moved farther north up Milwaukee Avenue where great spaces became available. While the neighborhood had standbys like Lula Café, newer hot spots entered the fray. Now the area has countless great restaurants and bars like Longman & Eagle, Yusho, Fat Rice, Giant, Slippery Slope, East Room, Scofflaw, Dos Urban Cantina and Osteria Langhe. The rise in popularity has also brought a number of new developments to the area, some more controversial than others. Drone videographer Blanco Aerial Division shot this recent video, which DNAinfo Chicago first shared, flying high over the video, giving you a new perspective of the hip ‘hood.
