Live Music in March

Everyone can rock out in March

While we’re waiting for spring — and eventually summer! — to arrive so we can start getting outside and enjoying the festivals, there’s still plenty of great, live music happening in Chicago. Here are some picks for you to check out this March.

  • The Who: Rock out with the classics as The Who hit the United Center March 10.
  • Leon Bridges: Try to score a ticket to this 26-year-old-souled R&B and soul singer. March 11 at Chicago Theatre.
  • Carly Rae Jepsen: Some had written her off, but Carly Rae’s pop songs keep pulling us back in. March 12 at Metro
  • Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour: If you can’t get to the real thing in the Bay Area, head to City Winery March 13.
  • Chvrches: Dance Dance Dance! March 13 at the Riviera Theatre
  • Mavis Staples: Pay homage to the gospel queen on March 19 at Thalia Hall.
  • Jose Gonzalez: Soar to new blissful heights with the gorgeous chops of this vocal charmer. March 21 at University of Chicago’s Rockefeller Memorial Chapel.
