The Lions Support the Cubs!

Watch the Art Institute lions get Cubs helmets

They’ve worn helmets for the Blackhawks, the Bears and the White Sox, but the iconic lions standing guard outside the Art Institute have never donned Cubs helmets. This marks another historic and momentous event in Chicago’s history — and thankfully WGN, the one-time home of the Cubs, captured it all on video. For a quick shot of the action, watch the video embedded below. To see the entire process, clocking in at just over an hour, pop over to WGN’s website and see it all go down. Or just walk across the street from the Chicago Athletic Association hotel and see it for yourself in person. You can even take a selfie!
