Let’s Go For a SPiN

Get ready to rock Susan Sarandon's ping-pong parlor

You love ping pong. You love Susan Sarandon. Ok maybe we’re being a bit presumptuous since we love both and just assume everyone does. So for the sake of keeping the peace, let’s just all get on the same page, OK? Cool. So in case you didn’t hear, our beloved Susan Sarandon is opening a ping-pong lounge. In Chicago. Yes, you read that right!

SPiN, opening Friday March 4 as part of the Marina City complex just north of the river, will encompass 16,000 square feet set over two floors. The expansive space features 20 Stiga ping pong tables, two bars and three private lounges. Graffiti murals from local artists grace many of the walls and SPiN will have ping pong on a patio in the summer. There’s a full menu featuring local, farm-to-table ingredients so when you work up an appetite after getting fiercely competitive against your friends, you can all come back to center over good food and drinks.
