What would you do for more recess time?

What would you do to get more time off from work? Ask your boss for an extension? Plead? Beg? Oftentimes, you’d be stuck with what you’re given until you have a chance for a review. But back in 1902, a bunch of kids wanted more time off — from school. Yup, kids at the Garfield School protested and held a strike when they wanted more recess so they could play more. Think they got the time off?
