Kids in the City

Kids throughout Chicago history

When you look out the window of your CAA hotel room (assuming you’re facing Michigan Avenue) you can see kids happily playing in the water in the Crown Fountain, with its giant video screen water spouts shooting water out onto laughing and screaming children.

Kids have always found a way to gather and have fun (or in some cases, cause mischief!) and we have a bunch of fantastic photos in the slideshow above from Calumet412.com showing kids throughout history in the city. Which is your favorite?
