James Beard Awards Come to Chicago

For the first time ever, the James Beard Foundation Awards are coming to Chicago...

If you’re at all into food, this is the event of the year — many call it the Oscars of the culinary world. Chefs, restaurateurs, bartenders, food writers and more will descend upon our fair city for a weekend of events starting April 29th and leading up to the awards on May 4th at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. The ceremony is open to the public and will run the general public $500, but there are other things happening you may want to check out.
