Now that you braved Black Friday (or were smart and stayed far away from the madness that day) you still need to get some gifts for your favorite people for the holidays. You can always join the masses on Michigan Avenue or you can get sneaky and find truly unique gifts at some local spots.

Holidose: Dose Market holds its annual Holidose shopping event on December 13th at Morgan Manufacturing (401 N. Morgan). Buy $10 advance tickets to check out 100-plus vendors for gifts, food, drinks and more.

Lula Holiday Bazaar: Like a hyper-local Etsy, the second annual Lula Holiday Bazaar showcases artisan goods — art, jewelry, accessories and more — from the Logan Square restaurant’s talented staff (who sell their wares year round at The free event, which features complimentary apps and a cash bar, happens December 15th from 6 to 10 p.m.

Tasting Table Open Market: Head to Revel Fulton Market (1215 W. Fulton) for this year’s Tasting Table Open Market. Shop products from vendors including Buttermilk Supply for Japanese knives; cookbooks from Read It & Eat; and wreath making workshops from Foxtail & Moss.

Randolph Street’s Holiday Market: One of the best antique markets in town, Randolph Street holds its annual holiday market on December 12th and 13th in Plumbers Hall (1340 W. Washington) for a huge selection of vintage and modern giftable items. Search through estate jewelry, furniture, art, house wares and so much more. Admission is $8 (kids 12 and under are free) and parking is free.
