Halloween on Halsted

Head to Boystown for Chicago's best Halloween parade

To get a taste of the absolute best Halloween parade and spectacle in Chicago, head to Boystown. The 19th annual Northalsted Halloween Parade on October 31st brings together some of the most inventive, clever and outrageous costumes you can imagine. Sure, the drag queens no doubt go over the top, but regular everyday folks take to the streets to strut their stuff, many playing off the zeitgeist, through pop culture, politics and ripped-from-the-headlines outfits. This is an event you don’t want to miss. And yes, it is family friendly (mostly) and free.
