MARCH 2020 — Chicago shifts from winter blues to spring greens this month, with the buzz to get moving outside in full swing. Gear up for a colorful month in a city gearing up for full bloom.

El Greco: Ambition and Defiance” Opens

Art Institute of Chicago (111 S. Michigan Ave.)
57 works from across the world are assembled in Chicago for a major exhibition based on the Spanish Renaissance icon, “El Greco”. Explore the painter’s final major work—The Adoration of the Shepherds—the altarpiece he created for his own tomb.

Wellbeing Workshop: Inner Workout

 Do-Good BINGO: Chicago Period Project

Grab a BINGO board at this downtown feel good activity benefiting Chicago Period Project (CPP) – a local organization set to empower homeless and in-need people to experience their periods with dignity. Your participation CPP distribute critical menstruation supplies to local shelters, schools, and crisis support networks.

Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Dying of the Chicago River

River Dying: 9:00AM — Michigan Avenue Bridge
The city veils itself in green beginning with the iconic Chicago River dying (a Chicago tradition since 1962!), followed by the massive St. Patrick’s Day Parade featuring beloved bagpipes, drum corps, and Irish dancers.

Chicago Flower & Garden Show
