Drink Among Animals

BrewLights returns to Lincoln Park Zoo

The weather outside isn’t quite frightful … yet. But this being Chicago, it can turn on a dime and what better way to celebrate the cold (yes, we said celebrate) than by bundling up with friends and loved ones and wandering around Lincoln Park Zoo during BrewLights.

The third annual beer festival takes place Dec. 1 during the ZooLights festival where guests can meander around the zoo, get beers from a dozen or so local, seasonal and imports and hang out with the animals, who likely will be inside because it’s, um, cold. Duh.

Guests 21 and over who buy tickets ($49 in advance; $60 day of) will get to taste through beers from the likes of Unibroue, Anchor Brewing, Stiegl, Berghoff and Saugatauk Brewing Co., while enjoying the numerous light displays, ice carvings and other treats.
