The City Made Fest Showcases All Things Local

4th annual Andersonville City Made Fest features best in local

Andersonville, the Far North Side neighborhood, has always prided itself on being a hub for fantastic locally owned, mom-and-pop shops. Sure, the occasional chain may slip in, but for the most part, the stores, bars and restaurants along Andersonville’s Clark Street corridor remain local.

So it’s no surprise the City Made Fest, now in its fourth year, will draw an eclectic mix of artisans and producers showcasing their wares Sept 17 and 18 along Clark between Argyle and Carmen, south of Foster Avenue. From the bands to the brewers to the restaurants, everything is born and bred in Chicago. Get food from the likes of Mas Alla del Sol, Quang Noodle and Main St. Grill and drinks from Empirical, Half Acre and Revolution breweries and cider from Right Bee. Hear sounds from various acts including The Oh Yeahs, Santah, Celine Neon, Yoko and the Oh No’s and the Katie Todd Band and a special show by VAUDEZILLA! Burlesque Cabaret. And check out products from Alicia Mohr Jewelry, Hilary’s Cookies, Sweet Comb Chicago, Six Point Pet, Spice Heist and many more.
