Check Out Chicago Via Time Lapse

Urbanique Chicago captures the city over 8 months

Who has the time to see everything Chicago has to offer? You do, that’s who! Videographer Chris Biela spent eight months capturing footage and still photography  — 250 clips and 65,000 stills to be exact — all over Chicago for his newest project: Urbanique Chicago. Biela set out to capture so many things that make Chicago, well, Chicago: the dyeing of the Chicago River for St. Patrick’s Day; fireworks over Navy Pier; the Air & Water Show; the new Ferris Wheel; full moons during summer; and so so so much more.

In just over three minutes, Biela encapsulates so much of why Chicago really is one of the most wonderful, cosmopolitan and gorgeous cities in the world. So do you still think you don’t have time to see everything Chicago has to offer? Now you do.
