Care For a Spot of Tea?

High tea in the Drawing Room is a posh affair!

WINTER 2018 – Many of us have our morning coffee ritual. Whether you brew a French press at home or stop at Starbucks on your way into the office, a cup of morning Joe is what many of us need to set the tone for our day. But what happens when you hit that afternoon slump, when you need a little pick me up, when you want to have a little escape from your day? May we suggest joining us for high tea?

The Chicago Athletic Association hotel hosts high tea every Sunday in the Drawing Room with four formal seatings, every hour between noon and 3 p.m. Our classic tea service, which costs $50, includes a sparkling cocktail from beverage director Paul McGee, a selection of tea from Rare Tea Cellars and an array of delicious sweet and savory nibbles like strawberry pistachio tarts, banana bread, mini oreos, avocado toast and more — all crafted from the Cherry Circle Room team.

Bookings get released a month out and you can reserve for parties of two to six people via Tock. Advanced payment of $50 is required to hold your spot.
