Lovers of musical theater will want to get themselves a spot on the Great Lawn at Pritzker Pavilion on Aug. 15 to catch this year’s Broadway in Chicago Summer Concert. The free concert starts at 6:15 p.m. and will feature live performances from many of the Broadway in Chicago shows like Fun Home, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Beautiful — The Carole King Musical, The King and I, Stomp, Phantom of the Opera, Finding Neverland and a special appearance by Grammy nominee Deborah Cox performing songs from The Bodyguard. With a wide range of musical numbers, this preview of the shows that have or will come through Chicago is sure to be a rousing night of song and entertainment.
