If you love bacon, set a reminder on your calendar to get tickets to Baconfest 2016. Tickets to the porcine fest, which takes place April 30th and May 1st, go on sale to the general public Feb. 22 at noon. General admission tickets cost $100 and VIP will run you $200, but gives you access to a special VIP hour.
More than 150 chefs and restaurants will participate in three sessions — lunch and dinner on April 30 and brunch on May 1 — and the price of admission includes unlimited dishes from the restaurants plus seven drink tickets for beer, wine and cocktails as well as a Baconfest tote. A few of the participating restaurants include the Duck Inn, the Dawson, Slurping Turtle, Cemitas Puebla, Davanti Enoteca, Firecakes, Floriole, Kuma’s Corner, May St. Café, Nana, Piece Pizza, Sparrow Coffee, Salero and Wow Bao.
