Lollapalooza turns 25 this year and to celebrate, the behemoth music fest expanded its already-packed weekend into four full days of rock, hip-hop, dance music and more. Lolla, which takes place July 28 to 31, spreads out over a huge swath of downtown, stretching across Grant Park between Lake Shore Drive and Michigan Avenue and from Roosevelt to Monroe. With well over 100 acts over the course of the four-day weekend, Lollapalooza will welcome artists like Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Ellie Goulding, J. Cole, Major Lazer, Jane’s Addiction, Bloc Party, Disclosure, the 1975, Miike Snow and Haim.
Set just down the street from the CAA, Lolla will also have food from some of Chicago’s favorite restaurants, curated by chef Graham Elliot, like The Purple Pig, Goddess & Grocer, Wow Bao, Billy Goat Tavern, County Barbeque, Edzo’s Burgers, Dark Matter Coffee, Kamehachi, Leghorn Chicken, Pork & Mindy’s and Momofuku Milk Bar from NYC! As of now, the festival is sold out so hopefully you got your tickets or know someone with pull!
