Have plans for Valentine’s Day? Feel like you can take it or leave it? Love it? Whatever you’re feeling about this most Hallmark of Hallmark holidays, people just can’t get enough of it. And that includes us here at the CAA. We have a bounty of things planned for Valentine’s Day weekend and they’re happening all over the property.
Cherry Circle Room: Exec chef Pete Coenen and exec pastry chef Kristine Antonian have crafted an a la carte menu that will be available alongside the restaurant’s regular menu Feb. 12-14. What can you expect? Kusshi oysters with a champagne mignonette, poached Maine lobster risotto with white truffle honey, pomegranate-glazed lamb shank, chocolate peanut butter ganache with banana ice cream, butterscotch and dates, and white chocolate cremeux with raspberry cake, candied sesame and pomegranate. Drooling yet?
Game Room: Hit the Game Room Feb 13 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. to celebrate Crew Love where DJ Kristin Marx and her Toast ‘n Jam crew will spin hot tunes from music duets and collaborations while Paul McGee will serve up large format cocktails and beers. And, of course, all the games will ready to play with your favorite partner … at no charge to you.
Drawing Room: Stop in all weekend for various pop-ups from different boutiques like Local Eclectic and Madison Hall for all sorts of gifts and goodies. And letter-writing stations with vintage typewriters and stationary will be set up here and up at Cindy’s for you to craft your most special love letters.
Cindy’s: The swank rooftop restaurant will transform into Mendl’s Café from Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, offering special treats from exec pastry chef Jove Hubbard and exec chef Christian Ragano. You’ll be able to select from various pastries to have boxed up to take home to your special someone.
