Taste of Randolph Street

What started more than a decade ago before the West Loop’s Randolph Street Restaurant Row was the dining destination in Chicago, the three-day Taste of Randolph Street has grown into one of the must-hit street fairs of the summer. With a lineup of the best restaurants teamed with hot bands, both established and emerging, this Taste, happening June 19th-21st, offers a lot to salivate over.

First: the food. Check out Korean barbecue from BellyQ, Italian sandwiches from Nonna’s, meaty treats from Tete Charcuterie, burgers from Grange Hall, Mexican bites from Hello Tacos, Italian treats from Vivo, spicy chicken from Nando’s Peri Peri, frozen kefir treats from Starfruit and much more.

Second: the music. With a mix of big names new and old like Dinosaur Jr., Best Coast and the Dandy Warhols headlining and a bunch more throughout each day like Tennis, New Mastersounds, Bright Light Social Hour and the Revivalists — not to mention a DJ stage hosted by The Mid — the festival has plenty to offer everyone.

Street fairs usually cost a nominal suggested donation of $10 for entry, but you can also go the VIP route for $100 with access to private viewing platforms and bathrooms, cheaper beer and dedicated food vendors. Check out the full lineup of food and music
