Parson’s Chicken & Fish: You can always make room for a slushy. Especially if it’s a Negroni Slushy from Parson’s. 2952 W. Armitage

Chicken Shop: There’s every other sandwich and then there’s the chicken sandwich from Chicken Shop. It will cut you to the core. 113 N. Green

Antique Taco: If I could eat Antique Taco every day, I would. Believe me. 1360 N. Milwaukee

The Shedd Aquarium: Get up close & personal with sea creatures at the Shedd Aquarium. 1200 S. Lake Shore Drive.

Billy Reid: Billy Reid is the first clothing shop on Randolph Street in the Fulton Market. One of my favorites in general. Hopefully one of many to come to the area. 845 W. Randolph

Jayson Home: Jayson Home & Garden has a plethora of unique items for decorating your home. I personally visit here more than I should. 1885 N. Clybourn
