Presidio is my favorite restaurant in Chicago! Gorgeous space, delicious seasonal menu items and an amazing beverage program. I’ve never had a disappointing meal here. 1749 N. Damen

The Art Institute of Chicago
There’s a reason why TripAdvisor named the Art Institute as the top museum in the world. No matter how many times I go there, I always manage to find something new and exciting. 111 S. Michigan

This quaint spot on the border of Wicker Park and Humboldt Park is a must for breakfast. My fiancé and I go here at least once a week. 1357 N. Western

Sweet Mandy B’s
Best bakery in the city. They have a snickerdoodle cupcake that I crave on a daily basis! 1208 W. Webster

Garfield Park Conservatory
This is the perfect location to visit in the winter. My favorite room is the Desert House. It gives me an excuse to see cacti in Chicago. 300 N. Central Park

Cafe Central
My mother is Puerto Rican so I grew up eating a lot of delicious Puerto Rican food. Cafe Central makes me feel like I am at my abuela’s house. If you want to try really authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, this is the place to be. 1437 W. Chicago

CC Ferns
Coffee is my lifeblood. My local neighborhood spot is CC Ferns and the coffee is fantastic. They even make their own pumpkin syrup for their pumpkin caramel (not pumpkin spice) latte. 2806 W. Augusta

Sportman’s Club
My favorite neighborhood watering hole is Sportsman’s. Their cocktail menu changes daily so it gives me the opportunity to try new cocktails every time I go. I also love their original art deco bar. 948 N. Western

Humboldt House
Another one of my favorite local neighborhood spots, this shop has an awesome mixture of vintage home items and local Chicago-made goods. Bonus: they did they interior for CC Ferns! 1045 N. California
