Chicago For Chicagoans Tour

Take this not-for-tourists Chicago tour

Do you live in Chicago? How well do you really know your city? With 77 distinct neighborhoods comprising our city, there’s a lot of ground you can cover. That’s where the Chicago for Chicagoans tours come in. These pay-what-you-can walking tours (they’re free but a $10 tip is suggested) dive into a different neighborhood each excursion. They last about two hours and end with a group meal at a local restaurant, like El Mogote Mexican Restaurant or Polish spot Podhalanka. Meals, which participants cover on their own, are encouraged for people get to know each other, but are not required.

Recent tours have included Albany Park/Ravenswood Manor and Boystown. Upcoming tours will focus on Wicker Park, Edgewater, Rogers Park, Logan Square, Pilsen and more. Subscribe to their newsletter to stay abreast of upcoming events.
